About

Bio

Nostalgia is the premier source for all things visual. Founded and run by a true renaissance man, Brad Walter, Nostalgia was established in 2008 as a place to showcase his incredible talent. When Brad discovered using his name for the website wouldn't work - he wasn't the only creator in the industry with his name - he brainstormed other ideas. So, why did he finally land on "Nostalgia?" Maybe it was the Lite-Brite-type face he made, the Apple IIc sitting in his apartment or his yearly playing of "The Legend of Zelda." Somehow the name just made sense.

Since he was a young child, Brad has always had a deep love for film. As a high school freshman, he invested in his first video camera to start creating original projects. His passion carried him through to college where he received direction not just in video but print, interactive and photography as well. During his senior year he noticed a paradigm shift in the role of computers in the film and television productio process and began to explore their uses himself to great success.

This curiosity continues to define him in his professional career. Since entering the industry, Brad Walter continues to learn new techniques while always improving on older, more established ones and seeks out difficult projects to push his talents to new heights. He thrives in a challenging environment and is dedicated to never resting on his laurels.

An excerpt from one of his professional recommendations says it best:

"Brad is super quick, adept at picking up new software/techniques on the fly, and always produces quality work." Ben Yonda - Freelance Art Director
